Cox ready to compete for playing time

MountaineerIllustrated.com Appalachian State needed running backs in the class of 2013 and they set out to sign two. However, up until the final week before signing day it appeared as though the ASU coaching staff would only be landing one in the class, Marcus Cox of Dacula (Ga.) High.
In the closing hours of recruiting, the Mountaineers managed to pick up that second running back, Terrence Upshaw, which ultimately provided the program with two extremely talented players at the position.
