Almost a month ago Akeem Dent gave the Georgia Bulldogs his verbal commitment. This Peach State linebacker chose the home state Dawgs over Florida and Ole Miss. He committed to Georgia the day after returning from Athens. He is still committed to Georgia, but was set to visit the Gators this weekend. Is that visit still set?
It looks like Dent will honor his commitment and sign with the Georgia Bulldogs.
"No, I am not taking the visit to Florida," said Dent.
"I thought about it and decided not to take it. I am set on my decision and that is to go to Georgia."
