Columbus (GA) Hardaway OL Darius Phillips (6-3 290) of has generated some interest from several schools around the Southeast and while he has not been offered yet, several schools are close. Phillips has attended junior day events at UGA and Clemson, and likes both of those schools, but he may be close to a decision if he gets an offer he is expecting this weekend.
Clemson has not yet offered, nor has Georgia, and Phillips told us that he's expecting an offer from Mississippi State this weekend when he visits Starkville and he might commit on the spot. He's also getting interest from Florida, Tennessee and LSU.
