Notebook: Florida makes a positive impression
The actual importance of wins and losses is one of the most frequently asked about aspects of college football recruiting. As the clock winded down Saturday night at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, the setting was in place to test just how much a game's outcome actually means to recruits. Florida fell 21-7 to its biggest in-state rival and garnet-clad chants of "It sucks to be a Florida Gator!" rang out as the game neared its final play. Yet sitting in the south end zone was a group of recruits largely unmoved by the defeat and their surroundings.
