Central Gwinnett LB close to an offer
One of the top inside linebacker prospects in the Peach State is Central Gwinnett's

Smith is a very tough and hard-nosed player who consistently plays with an all-out, no-quit aggressive attitude on every snap. He is still waiting on his first offer, but a couple of schools are showing signs of making a move.
"I'm getting a lot of interest from Vanderbilt, Memphis and Auburn," said Smith. "I camped at Vanderbilt and Memphis this summer."
If there is a team that has the upper hand for Smith's services, it would probably be Vanderbilt. The Commodores have had their eye on the linebacker prospect for quite some time.
"Vanderbilt was the first team to ever talk to me," Smith said. "They contacted me during my sophomore year and they've stayed in touch. They came down during the season and then they came down during the off-season to talk to me. After that, Head Coach

Smith visited Vanderbilt and had a solid showing at their prospect camp.
